This product consists of 30 mL of RPTEC complete media supplement which is added to basal media and other components listed below to produce 500 mL of complete media needed for optimal growth maintenance and culture of Sigmas Human Renal Proximal Tubule Epithelial Cells (RPTEC). The final RPTEC complete media was developed specifically for use with Sigmas human RPTEC control SA7K Clone cells and various knockouts (KO).

Elliptical Bump Trap, Rotary Evaporator, 24/40 Top Outer Jt, 24/40 Lower Inner Jt. Rotary evaporator bump trap is used between the vapor tube and evaporation flask on a rotary evaporator to prevent contents of the flask from being drawn into the condenser in the event of “bumping”. Unique elliptical shape provides large trap volume while decreasing the overall length when compared to standard spherical designs. His allows the use of larger recovery flasks in a rotary evaporator. Traps have a 24/40 top outer joint and the listed size of lower inner joint.

Although syringe and piston techniques are popular for microinjection in the nanoliter range, microinjection of sub-nanoliter volumes through a very small opening in a glass micropipette is often better accomplished with a controlled burst of gas pressure. Designed to simplify intracellular injection and a variety of other microinjection tasks, WPI’s PicoPumps use precisely regulated pressures for securing cells and injecting them with fluid. Injected volumes range from picoliters to nanoliters. Separate ports supply positive and negative pressure—positive pressure for high-pressure ejection, and suction for supporting the cell or for filling the pipette from the tip. In the time between injections, a secondary default “hold” pressure is applied to the pipette to prevent fluid uptake through capillary action or diffusion. The pressure pulses are typically controlled by a precision timer.
